You must assess your eligibility based on a points grid for the International Skilled Worker SINP category. The assessment must be done correctly because if you get less than 60 points, you will not qualify to apply. The sub-streams of the International Skilled Worker SINP category are:
- International Skilled Worker: Employment Offer.
- You apply to this category if you meet the basic points requirement and have an employment offer.

If you are applying to the International Skilled Worker category, SINP will assist you further if you have an employer. Once SINP approves your application and your application has been forwarded to the Centralized Intake Office of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, SINP will provide you a letter of support for a new or extension of a Temporary Work Permit. Once IRCC approves your application, you and your qualified dependents can start working. Or, you start working or prepare for business operations while IRCC is processing your permanent resident visa.
