Saskatchewan Opens 2015 Nomination Program

Fresh from the provincial government’s migration menu comes the recipe on how to be a permanent resident in Canada through Saskatchwan’s nomination program.

Three days after the announcement, occupations in demand already has 500 off the 2015 intake threshold.

In contrast, Saskatchewan’s Express Entry still has no applications in.  The highlights:

  • The International Skilled Worker – Occupations In-Demand Sub-Category is now reopened to accept an additional 1,000 applications.
  • The International Skilled Worker – Employment Offer Sub-Category is still accepting applications.
  • The intake thresholds for the International Skilled Worker on the other hand– Saskatchewan Express Entry Sub-Category have been reached.

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) also posted the complete 2015 intake thresholds below indicating the maximum number of applications in each category in each calendar year.

Visit regularly to check the update on remaining availability on a quarterly basis.  When a category reaches the intake threshold, no further applications will be accepted.
