November 2017 Visa Bulletin and Visas Issued Per Category

For next month, the Visa Bulletin for Family and Employment-preference category from the Philippines will not be welcome to the unmarried sons and daughters of U.S. citizens as well as the over-21 unmarried sons and daughters of lawful permanent residents.

The other Family-preference categories moved between 1 to 3 months

Skilled workers, professionals and other workers in the Employment-based category moved forward by approximately 1 month and 2 weeks. The other EB categories remain current. The EB2 category (For aliens with advanced degrees retrogressed for two consecutive months (August and September this year).

As a bonus, we have also checked the actual number of visas issued to certain Family and Employment-based visas by the U.S. Embassy in Manila for the months of July and August.

The two-month visa issuance report would give you a clear idea of how many applicants are competing the limited number of visas per country. While the yearly per-country allocation is 26,520, visas are issued to principal applicants and derivative beneficiaries in each category based on the worldwide allocation formula.
