List of Eligible Occupations for Australian Migration

On July 1, 2017, Australia revised the way Skilled Migrants could apply for permanent residency. The previous  List of Occupations (Skilled Occupations List – SOL) and Consolidated Skilled Occupations List (CSOL) had been replaced by a new list.  See the table below which list you should check when applying under a specific visa category.

A single alphabetical list of occupations for those applying under the Subclass 457 (Temporary Work) and Subclass 186 (Employer Nomination Scheme) had been published. 24 Occupations on the List Eligible onluy for Subclass 489 or Subclass 190

The following 24 occupations included on the Short Term Skilled Occupations List (STSOL) are only available for the Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 489) - State or Territory nominated visa program. They are not available for the Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190).

The assessing authority will provide all necessary application forms and associated information relating to the assessment. There will be a charge by the assessing authority for the assessment.
