By next month, Citizenship and Immigration Canada will announce the new list of priority occupations that are eligible for fast-track processing as permanent residents under Canada's Federal Skilled Worker Program.  There is no assurance that occupations under the current list, will be retained.

If you have at least one year experience in any of the remaining 23 occupations (out of 29) listed here, you should submit your completed applications now before the new list is out. There is a cap (quota) of 1,000 per occupation.  From the current list, six (6) occupations have already reached their limit.  The good news is your language proficiency exam (IELTS) will be considered valid from the date the test was taken.

The remaining 23 qualifying occupations are shown below.  For a free assessment on whether you would get the requiredd 67 points and therefore eligible to submit your permanent residency applications, log on to and get a free assessment by completing out online form. Or you can call (02) 634-8717.
