If you are a Physical Therapist, Radiographer, X-ray Technician, Dental Technician, Chef, Cook, Welder, Electrician - apply for permanent resident to Canada now while your occupation is still in Canada's Priority Occupation.
By next month, Citizenship and Immigration Canada will announce the new list of priority occupations that are eligible for fast-track processing as permanent residents under Canada's Federal Skilled Worker Program. There is no assurance that occupations under the current list, will be retained.
If you have at least one year experience in any of the remaining 23 occupations (out of 29) listed here, you should submit your completed applications now before the new list is out. There is a cap (quota) of 1,000 per occupation. From the current list, six (6) occupations have already reached their limit. The good news is your language proficiency exam (IELTS) will be considered valid from the date the test was taken.
