Just out, just now – 10:15 pm Manila Time.

We have compiled the priority dates for the month of August for the years 2010, 2013, 2015 and next month’s priority date so that our Friends, viewers and listeners could see how the priority dates for the Family-preference categories moved forward – and backward.

It is most important not only to check the dates, but also to have a good feel of how the movement will go in a particular year, or the coming months since visa availability is affected by events worldwide.  The allocations for each preference categories remain constant but crisis in one’s country – and the scramble to get one’s visa interview varies.

In 2010, visa movement moved forward fast from July to November.  In August of that year, the F1 and F3 moved almost 3 years from January of that year.  For this month, however, the F1 has moved 4 years from August of 2010, while the F3 category still has not passed the priority date of August 2010.
