Visa Bulletin November 10 years Before and this Year

Except for the EB3 (Skilled Workers and Professionals) and the OW (Other Workers), all the Employment-based categories moved back to the Current category as they were in 2004. There was a year when all the Employment-based categories became Current. That was in July 2007 – and only for a few days.

The USCIS used all the EB3 categories and the State Department had to adjust its Visa Bulletin data. The EB3 and OWs moved forward and backward but never to the current category till now. Hence those with priority dates that would take 3-5 years more, applying for permanent residency in countries where point system is more favorable should be an option.
