Immigrate or Study in New Zealand

A photo of New Zealand

New Zealand is now a popular destination for Filipinos seeking an international degree or education credentials. And while the Filipino community in New Zealand is not as large as that in the United States of America, permanent residency after suitable studies in New Zealand is still faster and easier than other countries such as Canada or the United Kingdom.

Wages & Salaries

The adult minimum wage:

  • Applies to all employees aged 16 and over who are not starting-out workers or trainees, and all employees who are involved in supervising or training other employees.
  • The adult gross minimum wage is NZ$15.75 an hour which is:

A small number of people hold an exemption from the minimum wage.
