You're Invited to a FREE ORIENTATION for University College Cork

Consider studying in Ireland, the Gateway to Europe.

Get to know how student life is at University College Cork! Know if you are qualified to avail of SCHOLARSHIP or LOWERED TUITION FEE schedules.  And, see for yourself if settling in Ireland (and Europe!) is something that will be good for you and your family.


Attending the 2016 orientation is for you if you:

  • Want to study in a prestigious university in Europe (top two percent in world ranking) but at lower tuition rates through scholarships and lowered tuition fee packages;
  • Are a graduate of a 4-year degree program and want to enhance your credentials to start a career in Europe;
  • Have been thinking of shifting careers by way of a postgraduate program instead of enrolling as an undergraduate student;
  • Are checking alternative pathways to immigrate next year.

Depending on your current academic credentials and professional profile, choose an academic programs from various colleges and departments such as, but not limited to:

  • Accounting and Finance 
  • Biochemistry
  • Computer Science
  • Engineering
  • Food Science
  • Law
  • Nursing
  • Pharmacy
  • Psychology
Programs are available at various levels from Undergraduate, postgraduate diplomas, master's to Ph.D. levels.

Meet Mr. Gearoid McCarthy, UCC's International Linkages Manager and get all of your questions answered! Some of the topics that he will be discussing include:

  • The latest scholarship and lowered tuition fee offerings for non-EU international students;
  • What the university does to help international students in detail;
  • Requirements for a successful student visa application;
  • How to get the best accommodation;
  • What you can reasonably expect when you graduate from UCC and want to stay on in Ireland rather than returning to the Philippines and;
  • The Irish culture and how you, as an international student can fit in.

KaVisang Cris Aranda and Atty. Dom Pagulayan, both well known immigrant advocates, will also be on hand if you have questions on immigration and visa applications to the Republic of Ireland - FREE of charge!

Type.    FREE

Days.    CHOOSE either March 31 (Thursday), April 1 (Friday)

Time.    CHOOSE either 1:30pm to 3:30pm OR 3:30pm to 5:30pm

Venue.  IVC Head Office.  Room 1001 10/F Prestige Tower Condominium, F. Ortigas Jr. Road (formerly Emerald Avenue), Ortigas Center, Pasig City

This orientation and subsequent individual interviews is open to prequalified applicants who intend to enroll in Academic Year 2016-2017. Prequalified applicants are individuals whose academic credentials - e.g. resumes, pertinent transcripts of record, diploma(s) - have been reviewed by the Education Associates and Counselors of our firm.
