Accounting Diploma Post-Degree Douglas College

Douglas College, Canada

About This Program

Do you already have a degree in the disciplines of commerce or business administration?  If you intend to apply to the Chartered Professional Accountant’s (CPA) Professional Education Program (PEP) program to eventually practice as a CPA in Canada, then this study program is for you.

IVC presents the Accounting Post-Degree Diploma program of Douglas College so you can take your career to the next level. Gain skills for you to secure intermediate-level accounting positions in:

  • Financial reporting;
  • Taxation;
  • Management accounting; and
  • Auditing.

Depending on your academic background, this post-degree diploma may enhance your credentials so you might be able to satisfy the entrance requirements of the CPA PEP program after graduation.  To be sure though, have your credentials evaluated to identify further gaps in your education before applying to CPA though.

You will be conferred the Post-Degree Diploma in Accounting award upon course completion.

If your course is in a discipline other than commerce or business administration you may still pursue a career in accounting.  Apply for entrance to two other programs of Douglas College:

  • Post-Degree Diploma in Accounting Studies: OR
  • Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Accounting.
